Cannes makes the wall
«Cannes is proud to welcome the Festival de Cannes», said M. David Lisnard, First Deputy to the Mayor of Cannes. «It’s a glamorous, intellectual and cultural event.» In presence of M. Bernard Brochand, Deputy Mayor of Cannes, M. Marcel Artman and M. Eric Harson, deputy to the Culture, David Lisnard unveiled M. Artman’s poster that hangs on the Town Hall façade for the eople of Cannes to benefit as well from the Festival de Cannes. M. Artman is a french photographer, whose other posters are displayed all around Cannes.
Opening of the 64th Festival de Cannes
Woody Allen’s «Midnight in Paris» opened tonight the 64th Festival de Cannes after that Bertolucci has declared the Festival open. On the croisette, the curtain is opened on the feast of the cinema.
