Facial Aesthetics Makes Women More beautiful
On November 2 and 3, Cannes Palais des Festival hosted the second edition of the congress Face2Face. This event provided a comprehensive and high-quality information on all the new technologies, products and facial aesthetics protocols for both professionals and the general public. This event singled out by the quality of its speakers with over 120 speakers from 20 nationalities (Russian, Canadian, English, Italian...), by the content of their presentations, by the exceptional means implemented (live retransmission and comments on surgical procedure carried out on site thanks to the Pure Zone labeling with anatomical views parallel vision). Some 600 satisfied doctors were able to share, learn and communicate with the world about a constantly evolving field.
This excellence figured also in the public conference during which 150 guests were able to enjoy the experience of leading experts in the various disciplines of aesthetics of the face. And all had access to objective and knowledgeable information on current practices, trends, new products and future prospects, risks, what to do or not do. Topics included: fillers, botulinum toxin, cosmetic surgery of the face, VAT. (Replay available.)
At the magnificent closing dinner given at the Hotel Martinez, 200 happy few could, after an opening speech of the Deputy Mayor of Nice Christian Estrosi, discover the International Festival of Aesthetics Film nominees and applaud the winners. It was also an opportunity to present surgeon Dr Jawad an award of honor for his documentary "Saving Face" which was dedicated to him and for which he won an Oscar this year.
The auction that followed allowed people to appreciate the beautiful work of artists (Faraut, Sosno ...) who have generously donated works. Paintings, sculptures, drawings and even jewelry were distributed among the lucky ones. This rich in emotion event has allowed to raised a substantial sum that will help the Mundi CP Association in its humanitarian work of faces reconstruction of children in the developing world.

How To Be More Beautiful and Remain Natural
Scientific research, major players in the industry, 50 exhibitors around facial improvement presented their products and processes in the Salon des Ambassadeurs in the Palais des Festivals.
Must we suffer to be beautiful ?
Public conference-debate hosted by Brigitte Fanny-Cohen. Five main themes: rejuvenation without surgery, advances in laser, injections, facial surgery natural results, change your nose without surgery.... For the first time during a debate, with all specialties represented (surgery, dermatology, ENT, medicine…), viewers could have informations on different solutions for the same problem. The best French specialists answered questions: Dr. Jacques Lagier (ophthalmologist, Nice), Dr Hervé Padey (dentist, Cannes), Dr Patrick Trevidic (plastic surgeon, Paris), Dr Claudette Brunner (dermatologist, Monaco), Dr. Frédéric Braccini (congress organizer and facial surgeon, Nice), Dr Jérôme Paris (facial surgeon, Marseille).
First Cannes International Aesthetic Film Festival
The dinner hosted the Award Ceremony of the first Cannes International Aesthetic Film Festival. The Film Festival Presidents, Mr. Alain Fogli and Jean-Luc Breitenstein, have reward the 3 best films of each category, industry and practitioners. The winners have received a statuette specially created on this occasion by HEMCE, a local artist.
