Missing, ABC network's new action series


Disney Media Distribution, the international TV and digital distribution arm of The Walt Disney Company, has announced international TV licensing agreements for the midseason ABC Studios drama series Missing starring Ashley Judd, with the thriller sold so far to over 80 territories. The series, filmed this summer in Prague, Dubrovnik and Istanbul, had its World Premiere Screening at MIPCOM on Monday October 3.

Missing tells the story of Becca Winstone (Ashley Judd), who learns that her son, Michael (Nick Eversman) has disappeared while studying abroad. It's a race against time when she travels to Europe to track him down. A surprising turn of events reveals just how far one mother will go to protect her family.

Missing stars Ashley Judd (Double Jeopardy, Kiss the Girls) as Becca Winstone, Sean Bean (Game of Thrones) as Paul Winstone, Cliff Curtis (Trauma) as Dax, Adriano Giannini (Ocean’s Twelve) as Giancarlo, Nick Eversman (Cinema Verite) as Michael Winstone, and Tereza Voriskova (Borgia) as Oksana. 

Exotic locations and thrilling twists will keep viewers riveted in “Missing,” the new drama from creator/executive producer Gregory Poirier (National Treasure: Book of Secrets) and executive producers Gina Matthews (13 Going on 30), Grant Scharbo (The Gates), Steve Shill and James Parriott (Sons of Anarchy). Missing is produced by ABC Studios and distributed by Disney Media Distribution. It will launch on ABC in the US midseason in 2012.
