The New France Cruise-Liner
The New France Cruise-Liner
A new France to sail soon for paradisiac cruises
The France which became the Norway knew an unparalleled destiny which elicited both deep emotion and rancor. Many sought to save it by transforming it into a hotel, a casino… but would it have actually been saved ? Today she is gone. However, The France’s legend remains intact and it will always be remembered in French memories, in our hearts as a fabulous paquebot. And now, like a seed planted, the “nose” of the France (the bow) came back to Paris. This last piece was able to be saved from demolition and installed at the Port de Grenelle. From that seed, a new ship is beginning to grow. The time has come to offer France a new jewel of the sea, an exceptional ship that is modern, different and in the same lineage of refined luxury of those ancient cruise liners of yore. Conceived to host around 600 passengers, this 260m long vessel, slender in shape, offers only exterior suites, most boasting a private balcony. At the stern, a succession of decks will lead little by little to the sea, located below a large overflowing swimming pool, where passengers will be able to enjoy the pleasure of swimming, dinghy sailing, jet skiing, water skiing, diving… Between the two superstructures of the ship: a garden full of palm trees covering over 1,500 sqm. In some ways therefore, a cruise on the France will be like a stay on a paradise island. So, with all these differences, the new France will be an exceptional ship due to her ecological program. The new cruise-liner France will be the ambassador of the « French exception », a messenger of the « French touch ». A ship that features the best France has to offer : talent, luxury, refinement and good taste. The France’s calling will be to offer evasion, comfort and well-being to her passengers as well as an “international ambassador” to France.
