Monaco, Monte Carlo, synonymous par excellence with class and elegance and one of the economic and cultural centers of the Riviera, received the fourth edition of the Monte Carlo Wine Festival and Wine Tasting from February 10 to 12, 2012 at the Fairmont Monte Carlo Hotel. A festival designed around a selection of the best international wine productions with guided wine tasting, workshops and market analyzes for wine industry professionals and amateurs. The event offers a rich panorama of cultural and educational events such as conferences, meetings and debates with historical and artistic aspects, as well as socioeconomics and medical treatment to analyze the wine industry and its future.
At the Wine Festival opening, president Michel Florentino said: "I think we will always need quality food, made with love and skill, especially against the standardization of products; this is why I conceived the Monte-Carlo Wine Festival as a scene where may have a say those who love wine as an expression of "terroir" and do so with artisanal wisdom for fine foods and wines, while respecting the rules of nature, who in exchange, gives the magical fruit of its harmonious marriage with culture." The Monte Carlo Food and Wine Festival is a product devised for the promotion and enhancement of agro-food products made in Italy and Central Europe.
