Etoiles de Mougins "Seeds of Chef" contest

The Etoiles de Mougins "Seeds of Chef" contest chaired by Sébastien Chambru, MOF Chef of Le Moulin de Mougins was held on Saturday, September 15. In 2010, Etoiles de Mougins launched the concept of "Seeds of Chef": during one year, twenty children from 7 to 10 years, were attended cooking classes, learning the rudiments of cooking, met with producers on their place of production. After this year of training, delivered every Wednesday, the children themselves made a gala dinner in the Moulin de Mougins. Each year, a workshop area is reserved for children in the Festival program. For the first time, a contest decided among them on the theme: "The vegetable burger." The recipe should only include bread, vegetables and cheese. In addition to 2-star chefs Bruno Oger and Christophe Cussac, the jury of this competition for children included Junior Master Chef 2012 winner Martin Helouin and Jenna Azoulay, third of this TV show. Will the winner be one day winning the Young Chef Contest? Participants were four girls: Julia, Salome, Léa and Jade who have deployed all their emerging talent to seduce the jury, concentrated and diligent despite photographers and cameramen's lenses recording their actions. After President of Jury Sébastien Chambru, the young cooking ladies were so good that determining the winner was very difficult: each member of the jury noted on 100 points and on the 500 points total, only one point broke a tie among the first, Julia and Salomé the second! Léa and Jade ranked third ex-aequo.
