EDHEC Nice campus celebrates its 20th anniversary


The 20 years anniversary ceremony of the EDHEC Nice campus took place on March 12, attended by Christian Estrosi, Mayor of Nice and President of the Metropolis Nice Côte d'Azur, Eric Ciotti, President of the General Council of Maritime Alps, and Olivier Oger, EDHEC Group General Director. Located in Nice on the prestigious Promenade des Anglais, the campus currently houses 160 employees, including 25% international and 1,700 students including 30% international. These students are divided into different training programs of continuing education. The campus houses a world-renowned research center in Finance, created by people from Nice and radiates throughout the world from London and Singapore. In all, 1,200 EDHEC Business School graduates are living in the Nice area out of which, 51% are working within the Nice Metropolis.The first phase of the EDHEC project was inaugurated on 11 November 1991; today in 2012, this anniversary allows to measure the distance covered in 20 years and thank all the local business partners who have contributed to the joint success. For this evening, the EDHEC Groupl has called the talent of its graduates such as singer Emilie Satt, ESPEME graduate (catering and event planning). This anniversary only marks a route point perspective, the Phase IV of construction of buildings is underway, with the assistance of the Alpes Maritimes and Metropolitan Nice Côte d'Azur. The ABC group of Architects Project Manager, represented by Jean Michel Cabane, is realizing the construction of a side building to complete the whole by 2013. The Nice campus fits into a innovative, international and sustainable metropolis dynamics, by Nice and the EDHEC Group confirms its economic place on this unique territory in the heart of the Mediterranean basin.
