Competition "Risottomania, revealing young talents"


Risotto is a very trendy dish. It lends itself to countless culinary combinations due to the creativity of chefs and allows unusual daring harmonies. This contest was chaired by Stéphane Raimbault, Chefs of "L'Oasis" in Mandelieu-La Napoule, designed by Gerard Bernar and organized by the website www.email-gourmand.com. The four finalists chefs have been able to demonstrate originality in participating to the most creative risotto contest. Competition organized in partnership with Bertrand Mazel, President of the Union of Rice Farmers in France and the Lycée Paul Augier in Nice.


First contest: professional chefs

The winner of the 2012 edition is John Troin, cooking teacher at the Golf Hotel Professional Lycée, Hyeres.

The second is Sébastien Gaillard, chef, Aups.

The third is Frank Puccetti, Chef at Riviera Traiteur, Grasse.

The fourth is Laurie Shild, Luc Salsedo, Nice.

The second is Justine Galagain, Lycée Jules Monnet à Limoges

The third is Dylan Rey, Lycée Paul Augier à Nice

The fourth is Alexis Constantin, Lycée de Manosque
