Marc Vella’s Loving Caravan
The Loving Caravan and Marc Vella call at the Hill of Angels
On March 2, the conference-concert by Marc Vella was held at the Obama room at the Hill of Angels in Roquefort les Pins. The event was organized by Silvana Di Gaetano, President and Founder of «Terres d'Amours», a network of therapists and conferences on the Internet.
This exceptional artist, composition prize at the ENM and first Rome prize in composition in 99, "nomadic pianist writer" as he lovingly calls himself, teaches praise of the wrong note and of freedom of expression to vibrate in the depths of his being and harmonize both with life and others. Designer of the "Loving Caravan", sponsored by UNESCO as part of the "Decade for the promotion of peace", he has been traveling the world for 25 years with his Yamaha piano in extreme conditions, having already traveled more than 200,000 kilometers through forty countries to say "I love you" to others, stopping as well in a village square, as upon a dune or a slum and throughout all premises the world may count as exceptional. In 2011 he went to Quebec to meet the Indians and Innus. When he evokes his "Loving Caravan", Marc Vella qualifies himself as a lover explorer, he says being "in joy", sensitive to beauty and fascinated by the world and people, wondering what's behind those faces that other suns have formed, what is there behind these captivating and lascivious music.
His next concert will be in front of Nicolas Sarkozy and his wife, then he will leave for India with a film crew to film the light and three bus converted into campers, accompanied by a group of men and women with the aim of reaching out to others with their gifts, smiles and dances, ultimate gifts to touch hearts and open them, which inevitably promotes equitable and sustainable exchanges between people, as politics seeks to build.
Mark Vella is already the author of four books, the next released on March 15, entitled "In Praise of the Wrong Note".
