Denis Durand Couture

Fashion, couture and Seventh Art

At the Cannes Shopping Festival, the Denis Durand's fashion show gave a parade combining charm, elegance and seventh art. Inspired by a constellation of muses of cinema, true icons of the film industry as Marlene Dietrich and Marilyn Monroe, combining black and white lace and silk, to sublimate the unforgettable woman. At the beginning, the mood of the fashion show was given by he appearance of a hieratic deus ex machina (machina for train) draped in beige silk, followed by porters. The entire show, interspersed with pictures of classic films, from tangos with Ka & Jeff and piano with Claude Tedesco, was a creation of Patrice and Chantal Guitard Hattenberger. The elegant evening gowns full of glamor or pastel dresses, some embellished with Calais lace, crystals, classic colors mingling with bolder colors such as orange, electric blue, pink as well as the two wedding dresses, all covered by the elegance of the sixties, and large volumes hairstyles by Pascal Hodost, have contributed to the resounding success of this magical meeting with one of the most talented designer of our time.
