G 20 YES in Nice

G 20 for Young Entrepreneurs in Nice

In November 2011, if Cannes will be the center of the world when welcoming the B 20 and G 20, Nice will host the G20 Young Entrepreneur Summit from October 31 to November 2 at Nice Acropolis. The importance and value of this summit that will bring together over 400 business leaders from 20 countries has been presented by M. Jean-Louis Gregoire, General Manager, G20 YES, accompanied by M. Bernard Kleynhoff, President of the CCI Nice Côte d'Azur (Chamber of Commerce and Industry). The G20 YES summit, organized by the "Journées de l'Entrepreneur" (Days of the Entrepreneur) with the help of the CCI, has three objectives: to promote and improve understanding of the vital role played by entrepreneurs in growth, job creation and innovation; identify actions to promote the role of the entrepreneur with the young, feed the governments recommendations; allow entrepreneurs around the world to exchange and share their experiences with those involved in the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the 20 largest economies in the world. 20 entrepreneurs the most representative and emblematic of each country, that is to say 400 entrepreneurs from around the world, aged 18-45 years will meet for 2 days of work, around 4 workshops in order to bring out and finalize key proposals they will present on Nov. 3 to G20 heads of states, designed to help young people to become "entrepreneurs of their own destiny". In the same time, the Business Lounge Village, a place of presentation of business activities will promote meetings, discussions and networking. An occasion, why not, to realize that a competitor thought to be dangerous can be a future partner. An international conference will take place on November 2 with keynotes from high level speakers. Two world-famous companies contribute to the G20 YES: Mc Kinsey & Company and Ernst & Young, to elaborate a barometer of entrepreneurial confidence, to provide G20 countries with a simple tool to measure their entrepreneurship. One of the main issues of the G20 YES conference will be: can entrepreneurship be taught to young generations?
